Nominations are open for the 2026 Bargaining Committee!
Our 2026 Joint Bargaining Committee will be composed of 12 student employees. 6 ESEs will be appointed internally by the Executive Board and ratified by the Membership. 6 OSEs will be directly elected. To qualify for nomination, you must have worked a job on campus in the respective category within the past 12 months.
To run for the Joint Bargaining Committee, ESEs must run for an Executive Board Position. Please note that not all Executive Board members are guaranteed to be placed on the Bargaining Committee, as there are only 6 ESE slots. The Executive Board will internally determine their placements and present it to the membership for ratification. Currently Vacant positions on the Executive Board include Trustee (x2) and Head Steward (x8). Interested ESEs must email elections@wawu-union.org to accept their nomination with the following info:
- Name + preferred pronouns
- ESE Job Title
- Headshot
- Position that you are running for
- Optional <500 word candidate statement
Interested OSEs may run directly for the Joint Bargaining Committe. To run, please email elections@wawu-union.org to accept your nomination with the following info:

Nominations are due on February 12th, 2026.
Candidate profiles will be posted to the elections page on the 12th. Voting will be held virtually over a 7 day period, from February 26th to March 5th.
