On Monday March 2nd, 2026, our OSE Collective Bargaining Bill was passed by the Senate Ways and Means Committee! Thank you to everyone who has supported our bill on its journey so far, including our wonderful legislators, our UAW staffers, members from other unions on campus, and of course our own members who have followed us at every step, signing in pro, testifying remotely and in-person, and engaging with us as we work to expand the protections of the Educational Student Employee Collective Bargaining Agreement to all student employees at Western!
The next step for our bill is heading to the Senate Rules Committee, and then off to the Senate Floor!
