All student employees within Resident Life who attended the Winter Quarter all-hands training were paid out at the 2025 rate of $19.00 per hour. This was in violation of the OSE Terms and Conditions of Employment, as well as Section A, Subsection IV of the Resident Advisor contract (and similar provisions in other position’s contract), which provides for a raise to $19.79 taking effect January 1st, 2026.
We addressed this with our labor relations partner in HR, and were able to resolve the situation without filing a grievance. All Reslife employees who attended the relevant trainings should have receive retropay equal to $5.53 in their 2/10/2026 paystub (PP3-2026).
