Orientations Committee

The Orientations Committee meets weekly to create and implement the Western Academic Workers United new employee orientations that we won in our first contract. This includes: creating the visual elements to be presented and handed out to student employees attending orientations, hive-minding the important talking points for new student employees so that they fit within a 30 minutes time window, and helping to prep workplace presenters to successfully deliver important information.
